I’d like to call this technique Success 333: 3 goals, 3 habits, 3 months
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Set 3 goals for the year.
Yes, only 3 goals for the whole year!
The truth is we do not have enough energy to transform all aspects of our lives at a go. Too many are just exhausting.
I’ve learned overtime that focusing on fundamentals yield greater results. This might seem counterintuitive, but focusing only on three important objectives allows us to accomplish our goals fully and well.
Step 2: Develop 3 habits for each goal.
Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Habits are actions we perform automatically. When developing the three habits, ensure that they are in line with your identified goals.
Step 3: Evaluate habits every 3 months.
Every three months, evaluate whether to keep or change your existing habits.
Doing this will allow you to keep track of your progress and do re-alignment, if needed be.
Here’s my Success 333:
Goals
- Save Php 500,000
- Act like a CEO
- Build a strong sense of self
Habits
- Persistently search for opportunities to earn and save money
- Follow SAVERS miracle morning routine
- Constantly respecting and acknowledging myself
I will be giving an update on my progress every 3 months.
